my favorite is number 5. i like the beading around the bodice and am always partial to empire waistlines since they hide a multitude of sins and are flattering to everyone's figure.
for a runner up, i would choose number six.
I am a uk size 16 and hourglass I love the ballroom dresses but not sure if they would suit my shape I am trying to get down to a size 14 in time for when I go to pick my dress

Don't like none of those dresses. The pick up style is atrocious. The full skirt of the first style is juvenile and will make you look more round than you really are, . #3 is OK, but is another story when you try it on.

Albany native Courtney Moore knew she wanted to do something different for her wedding, but she wasn't sure exactly what. "I know I wanted (the wedding) to be fun, to be dramatic, and then I got the idea to wear a different dress."

Moore wowed 200 guests the night before her official nuptials last July at a private event at the Olympic Ski Center in Lake Placid. "I wore a Priscilla of Boston dress, Marilyn Monroe -style," Moore says. "It was very romantic, with a fuller bottom."
At the ceremony the next day, Moore wore a stately Lismora gown for Rivini she describes as a mermaid-style piece with a sweetheart neckline. "And I wore a traditional Cathedral veil with it," she says.
At the reception that night, Moore slipped into a black-and-ivory Vera Wang number. "The black went with the wedding's colors -- black and hot pink -- and it was just this great night, a real party feel.
