I'm planning to sew my own sleeping beauty dress for halloween this year. I'm using this pattern- http://www.simplicity.com/design.cfm?des ignId=10719&design=9891 (The light blue dress in the top right corner).
Okay, I'm not the bestest seamstress, but I've made a few things. The sleeves shouldn't be too hard. Just use the dress pattern on the bottom right and extend the straight part. Don't do the flared bit.

Playing the venue tomorrow night actually allows the band to get even closer to its roots then they normally can in their Motown- and Stax-inspired shows. As head Collector Rich Smith noted in an email interview, the band played its first gig five Halloweens ago under the moniker Crebunculous. Hence, the name of tomorrow night's show is "Crebunculous Rising! A Hallowe'ekend Macabre." The evening not only brings The Record Collector out, but draws on the immense talents of Daryle Bascom and his Videology music video project as well as the hot-blooded rhythm of Hella Go-Go . Smith talked about Halloweens - and Halloween tunes - past, present and immediate future in this exchange.
Tribune: From what I understand, The Record Collector will be digging even deeper into its repertoire Friday night to dust off some Halloween-themed numbers.
