i was recently at bella vista bridal shop in columbia sc and i tried on a dress that was off of the shoulders with crinoline right at the neck line and then right at the hem and it had buttons all the way down the back including on the train!

It's going to be tough for you to find, I think. I would take it to a bridal store and ask them if they recognize the dress and/or designer. With just a description, it's nearly impossible because multiple designers could make similar versions of a particular style of dress.

In an industry that can trend toward the highly specialized , Ariane Goldman makes clothes that do double duty. twobirds Bridesmaid is her line of convertible bridesmaids dresses that she says can be worn for years after the wedding.

The final result? An ivory white, body-hugging dress with a "40s classic glamour silhouette," Tacori's Michelle Adorjan tells Us Weekly . "It flows back into a 72-inch train, about six feet."
"It's extremely simple," Adorjan explains. "The glamorous details are what Tacori brings to it."
