German couple gets knotty, Indian style in Karnataka

“We are happy to wed like this. We’ve known each other for the last 10 years as we work in the same university in Germany,” Jacinta said showing off her bridal make up, especially the mehendi.

“I hail from Australia and he is from Germany. Recently, we tied the knot in Germany, but our friends Harish and Anjana told us about the fascinating wedding rites of India. The couple asked us to try out the Indian way and we readily agreed,” she said.
