Tonight on WWE NXT: After last year's successful wedding between Goldust and Aksana, I guess WWE said, "Hey, let's do it again." Tonight, NXT's power couple, Derrick Bateman and Maxine, get engage after Bateman's main event match with Titus O'Neil. Should be a good one!
And we are TAPED! from Houston, Texas. Jack Korpela and William Regal are our commentators and Matt Striker is our host. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).
Striker is in the ring with Titus O'Neil, Percy Watson, JTG, Derrick Bateman and Maxine. Striker says only two rookies remain, which is news to me because they still show Darren Young in the show intro.
Striker says there's going to be plenty of time for talking because Bateman and O'Neil are going to have a Talk the Talk Challenge and Bateman is up first.
Bateman starts out by immediately making fun of Texas. Then he talks about football and says if you want to see real football, just go up the road to Dallas. I don't think these types of comments are going to get the crowd to vote for him. Bateman says he's the only one on this season of NXT who has shown he can run with the ball. Bateman says he's sure O'Neil is going to take the mic and go for the cheap pop, but he doesn't care about the WWE Universe, he caters to an audience of one, and he calls Maxine over and they kiss.
