Cherlone, I believe they are in the UK. Beautiful dresses, for all tastes! I found them on ebay, actually just won an auction for one a few weeks ago. Received it fairly quickly too.

Runway show : The inspiration statement of designers José St-Jacques and Simon Bélanger elicited a titter from the crowd but I can vouch: designers often talk in riddles like this, at least when they’re told to deliver soundbites for video footage. Never mind, anyway, when they can achieve soft/hard, tailored/destroyed in black and white like this: backwards-wrapping apron gowns and airy, balloon-like organdy blouse-shrugs that the Nan Kempner might have envied. Black perfecto jackets that come with fat zippers and with or without sleeves. (Neat styling trick to try: wear fishnet tights stretched over arms and neck as an underlayer.) It tries a bit too hard (strands of spiky metal ankle bracelets too much like shackles) but hey, maybe the future of modern evening fashion is in their finale: a stretchy, cobwebby crochet column gown with jutting, rustling black jet quills — Mark Fast by way of a porcupine.

Electrolux Fashion Apprentice 2011 finalists announced
Four of Australia’s most talented aspiring fashion designers were today announced as finalists in the inaugural Electrolux Fashion Apprentice 2011 and are in with the chance to win a break into the fashion industry.
One lucky winner will receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of a six month paid apprenticeship with industry leader, fashion designer and Electrolux fabric care ambassador, Alex Perry.
Young designers were invited to take part in a nationwide search to find Australia’s next up-and-coming fashion talent by designing an evening gown that could be machine washable or dryable in an Electrolux Iron Aid Dryer or Time Manager Washing Machine.
Selected from a field of more than 120 entrants from across Australia, the four finalists will receive $500 to bring their design concepts to life. They will be flown to Sydney, with $1,000 spending money, to present their design to Alex Perry in early November....
