cost more than it should
$40 for two relatively cheap plastic garment bags was a bit pricey. I probably should have shopped around a little more, but I was in a hurry.On the plus side, they did arrive fairly quickly. -
LOW Quality Cheap Plastic Broken Zipper Bag
LOW quality CHEAP plastic bag for a unreasonable price. The zipper stuck in the beginning, then the bag rip/torn after used. The strong plastic/vinyle smell is really bad. If I am not in a hurry for my upcoming special day, I willdefinitely return the bag and buy from other seller. DON't waste...

Our wedding is August 15, most of the things like venue, cake, flowers are all under control..
I live in Canada and in this town is hard to find some good designer dresses..unless i travel to another city/province I was even thinking going...
They take three - four months to come into the store from order date (usually a week or so after you buy) then you want 6 weeks for alterations as close to the wedding as possible.
Everyone needs a few alterations esp in the chest.

Fashion Shows: Holt Renfrew opens LG Fashion Week
It’s the opening evening of LG Fashion Week in Toronto and the opening show is a Canadian fashion showcase by event sponsor Holt “There’s no place like Holt’s” Renfrew, the tony department store. Guests are given gift bags on the way in (a Vetiver candle) and settle into their seats — rows of stands like a school gymnasium, but cushioned. The runway room feels smaller than previous seasons — a shorter catwalk, perhaps? and at least from my seat, it may be a blessing that because of the crowd control issues getting into the room, there is really no time between shows to eat. My size 10 self is pretty squished as it is. Holt’s head honcho Mark Derbyshire and his wife Julie are front and center, as is philanthropista Suzanne Rogers (in full Mary Katrantzou, a designer who’s conspicuously not stocked at Holt Renfrew but by the department store’s recent nemesis, The Room).
Designer Jeremy Laing’s spring collection opens the show with an apron dress in bone (“quartz”), sash pants and billowing tops in shades of putty and charcoal (called clay and shale). The print in the mix resembles a geometric astronomy grid, like quadrants written in chalk on matte blackboard paint. Next it’s Smythe, the Toronto-born label that gained a new level of household name-recognition in June when the Duchess of Cambridge wore their navy one-button blazer (twice!) on her official visit to Canada (just in for fall is a new cobalt blue version, the designers told me before the show, exclusively at TNT in Toronto ). The exposure has made their tailored jackets all the more required. For spring it’s more solids, like a khaki cropped army surplus trench, and one-button jackets peony pink or bright azure and with hidden tuxedo-style black piping along the torso and on the underside of arms. A propos the label’s inspiration – pieces raided from a beau’s closet – the soundtrack is kicky remix of “My Boyfriend’s Back” and it’s all styled with brightly coloured slinky satin track pants. One standout, because Smythe seldom do prints, is a shaped equestrian jacket in a lacy-cum-snakeskin pattern. Next come Naked & Famous denim with henleys and oxfords and heritage chambray; later, less East Coast preppy and more like 1960s Japanese ivy league with an edge, Vancouver’s Wings & Horns walk out mens teal sweaters, cropped chinos and a grey jersey Rocky Balboa sweatsuit that somehow looks like cool, not sloppy.

Classic California-cool travels to Canada as LA-based celebrity designer Lauren Elaine debuts the new SS2012 Black Label Swim collection at Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) on November 5th.
Attendees will be the first to preview the new collection mixing 70s exotic with California beach-girl whimsy, and featuring an array of decadent bikinis, evening-worthy après-swim cover-ups and resort wear, as well as a handful of chic separates and casual gowns. The 32-look runway show kicks off at 2pm at Masik Studios.
For the new SS2012 Swim collection, Designer Lauren Elaine has imagined a variety of couture bikinis and swim separates with a focus on clean shapes embellished with plenty of details. “I’ve always found it difficult to find swimwear that is unique and feminine without it being over-the-top or tacky.
My aim when creating this collection was to take my design aesthetic from the Black Label dress collection, and apply it to swimwear,” says Elaine. “I wanted to give my suits an added regal touch while keeping them effortless....

LG Fashion Week is celebrating its 25th season this year and has been in full swing all week. The new location for the event is the David Pecaut Square – conveniently placed in the heart of Toronto’s downtown.
