Miss Long and Mr. Standifer wedding held in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Miss Heather Ann Long of Conway, and Mr. Adam Thomas Standifer of Tuscaloosa, Ala., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Aug. 27, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa, Ala., in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Ken Smith of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Ken Wilson of Conway.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Cecil Long and Mrs. Debora Long of Birmingham, Ala., and Mr. John Shram and Mrs. Jill Dayer Shram of Maumelle. She is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Helen Dayer of Conway, Allen and Joy Long of Quitman, La., and Richard and Lucy Jones of Hattiesburg, Miss.
The groom is the son of Mr. Barry Standifer and Mrs. Pam Standifer of Tuscaloosa, Ala. He is the grandson of Lee and the late Thomas Beckham, and Doris and the late James Standifer, all of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore an ivory lace gown with an heirloom look. It was adorned with pearls and sequins. The detachable train was the same lace and secured at the waist with a cluster of chiffon roses. She wore an antique brooch in her hair that matched the dresses of the bridesmaids. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory and pink roses, hydrangeas and lilies.
