Peterson, Miller wed in Des Moines
Shawna Marie Miller and Brett Robert Peterson, both of Nashville, Tenn., were married in a 6 p.m. July 30 ceremony at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines. The Rev. Leonard Kenkel of Des Moines officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Julia and Gary Thompson and Doug and Rhonda Miller, all of Creston. The groom is the son of Deb and Larry Peterson of Creston.
Maid of honor was Casie Miller of Creston, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Gentry Miller of Creston, sister of the bride, Amy Duree of Omaha, Neb., Amanda Robinson of Urbandale, Amanda Buck of Appleton, Wis., Kylee Bradley of Williamsburg, cousin of the bride, and Jennifer Johnson of Palm Harbor, Fla., cousin of the bride.
Bride’s personal attendant was Jennifer Johnson of Nashville, Tenn.
Best man was Keith Peterson of Iowa City, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Mike Baker of Cedar Rapids, Travis Miller of Creston, brother of the bride, Scott Levine of Clinton, Joe Thomas of Golden Valley, Minn., and Dusty Mullin of Creston.
