A woman in northern England whose grandmother was well cared for by a local hospice has decided to put together a charity event which will raise funds for the hospice by asking charity ball attendees to find their old prom dresses and wedding dresses to wear to the event. The woman’s grandmother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and shortly after was cared for by the hospice and because the hospice care was handled so well she decided that it would be a good idea to try and raise needed funds for the facility by holding a charity event for local residents and their favorite old dresses.
