I covered a cake board with yellow fondant and placed my cake on it. I frosted my cake with a buttercream frosting and then with white fondant and added an eyelet border to the bottom. My flowers are made of colored fondant. The flowers are calla lilies, daisies and pink roses with fondant leaves.

This past summer we were invited to a puppy shower, and I brought the cake — for the dogs!
This is a bacon-chicken cake made especially for dogs. The picture is of my daughter, Emily, holding back the guest of honor before the puppy dug in. The cake was a big hit with all of the canine guests!
